2007 Supra 22v Indmar 340 rattling in muffler

Hi All,

On engine start I get this rattling inside the fiberglass muffler. Maybe the cats have pieces going in there rattling around? How hard to remove the muffler and check/empty out the junk?

I could be wrong, but I highly doubt you have catalytic converters in your boat. They were not required until the last few years. Pulling the muffler is not too difficult, loosen a couple of hose clamps and pull the hoses off.

Thanks. It definitely has cats, its the 340EXT Cat option that we were careful to spec when we ordered the boat. I will try disconnecting the muffler.
