How much should the stuffing box weep in an hour? I've never owned a inboard until now and I'm getting about 1 - 2 gallons an hour. just by looking at it.

not sure in an hour, but everything I see says one drip every 10 seconds.

When the boat is in gear at idle, you should see one drop every 30-45 seconds.Brian Raymond
