    Mark your platform looks great!

I did mine this past spring because it seemed like there was some kind of sealer on it and everytime a ski would rub on it there would be a scratch look to it. I stripped and sanded mine down using 120 grit and then 440 grit. Boy it really looked great once the teak oil hit it.

Mine has the same kinda issue. The oil is already coming off where people put their board on the platform, but I figure that is from the fact that the platform hasn't had oil in it for 5+ years. I'm planning on oiling it a lot until it gets to soak in deep into the wood.

A heavy concintration of Liquid Spic and Span and a little water and a soft brass brush clean teak the best Let it dry and then oil it.
