    Default Extended Pylons???

Does anybody have any recomendations for aftermarket extended pylons for a '92 Mariah. I've noticed that my ski pole is angled about 8-10 degrees towards the stern, unklike many other boats i've seen. Will this cause any problems with an extended pylon? Any input for brands and online vendors would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

I think we have the same mount, and out Skylon works just fine.

    Default Extended Pylon

You may find it worth your while to check the classifieds at www.wakeworld.com for used pylons. I bought a 2-piece Skylon with board rack for $200 there. Works fine!

Did you guys have to modify your factory pylon so the Skylon would fit over top?

I hammered the cross-tee out of the top of the pylon with a big hammer.(Supra TS6M)

That's all I had to do to get my 2 piece Skylon pole to work.

The top of my factory pole did get a bit chewed up from the inside of the skylon. There is a piece of foam inside that wore out.

    Default modified pylon

I cut my cross-tee down and ground it to fit perfect inside of the extension this seems to give it extra lateral support. Works Great!

I have an almost brand new 2 piece fly high with carry bag I'll sell for $250, plus shipping. New cost on this would be about $450, plus shipping. Several people told me the Fly High was the best one on the market, and it is made by Barefoot International. Makes your boat look cool too! BTW, I live in the Dallas area. You can send an email to [email protected] if interested.

    Default for sale

I have a fly high, by Barefoot International, plus the canvas carry bag for sale that will fit your boat, if you (or anyone) is interested. It is in like new condition and I used it on my 91 Supra Conbrio (open bow Comp). 2 piece pole. I want $275 for the set, plus actual shipping costs. New cost is about $450.
