Heres some shots of my project from last year- not as cool as some of the ones on this thread, but I am very glad I did it even if I only turn them on a couple times a year!

    Default Cup Holders

What is a uni-bit and what size best fit?

I am thinking that the lights might not be flush with the bottom of the holder so when a cup is in the holder (ex: styrofoam cup) does it cause a problem?

Also I am with the other guy, does the water not conduct any current?

Thanks the boat looks great and i am gonna do the cup holders, not sure about the swim deck yet.

    Uni-bit:

The lights are sunk down enough to be flush with the bottom of the cupholder.

Water conduct any current? It's 12V, not 120V.

    John,

Have you got pics of your platform in the water yet? I sure love the shadow-casters
being talked about on WakeWorld - but holy moly - not the price.

I kind of like theses from oznium too (keep clicking on the picture to see it "big")

I would bet you have to have 4 of them, at least - and that's a lot of holes to drill...

John - are these the cupholder leds? http://www.oznium.com/marine-led-floodlight

My boat won't see the water for another 2 weeks, and maybe longer before I can get some pictures of the light at dark....

The cupholder led's are here: http://www.oznium.com/prewired-superflux

Sure didn't. The platform bracket idea didn't work out so well. They'll need to be hard-wired through the transom. They did work for a little while, but it was'nt much light at all.

I did install these last year in a customer's boat though:

That's JCLevoy's boat sticking in on the right side.

    Also, check this out:

Here are my ShadowCasters on my Mariah just for some reference. Sorry, I have a crappy camera, and even worse at holding it steady for night pics. The pics are taken in nasty brown/green TN water.
