Striped Tower Screws

Hi, new here. I have a '05 21v, I bought back in Feb. I was trying to tighten down the tower and found that about half of the screws were striped out. They would still hold, but would just turn and turn. I am hoping there are nuts on the bottom and its not just screwed into fiberglass. Any suggestions on the easiest way to get to them?

Not sure about your specific situation but everyone that I have ever seen has a backing plate with a big nut that you will have to hold while tightening the top side. As far as getting to the other side you will just have to lay under the dash and take a look. There has to be a way to get to the other side,unless the tower was installed before the top half of the boat was set on (which I highly doubt.)

Usually you can reach the nuts under the mounting plates. On mine I have to remove a speaker to get to the back right mounting plate (Drivers Side). The other 3 are fairly easy to reach.
