    Default Polishing NiBrAl

Has anyone tried to polish up a nibral part, say a strut or the tracking fins, maybe the prop? Last year when I replaced my strut bearings I took the driveshaft out and polished it and it looks great, now everything else looks dull.

Salty, you just made me laugh out loud!! Maybe I do have some extra time on my hands, but I just want it to look killer for the summer! I also have some clear-coat for metals that I use around the boat and it works really well! Thank you for your input on this- I do appreciate any and all replies on this matter!

I hit a rock and damaged my prop some years ago. A friend of mine worked at a prop shop
After he repaired the prop he buffed it to a mirror finish. I didnt notice any improvement or
negatives in performance. It sure looked nice.

wet sand it first with 400 grit then buff with a finishing compound. I suggest 3M they are the best!! I just waxed mine and it is holding up great!!
