    Default 303 Protectant for Gelgoat

I've read that 303 Protectant works well on gelcoats and have even seen it recommended in the place of marine wax. Has anyone used it for this purpose and if so, what were your results? I'm skeptical of something that is sprayed on and wiped off providing lasting protection against the elements. But then, I've been wrong before...

    Jeff,

I have a bottle in the garage and will be using it next spring for sure. It's too cold where I am to get very excited about working on the boat now. I own a resort and a guy that stayed at my place in September recommended 303. I took one look at his boat and I was sold. He recommended getting all the old wax off first.

No problems here, we have a black/tan ssv, works well but doesn't last as long as regular wax, but is a great quick fix!
