What did you use to secure the gator grip? Did it come with adhesive? 3M 5200?

Mine came with adhesive already on it, Just peel and stick.

What did you use to cut and smooth if needed the edges? Is it flexible enough to lay on the fenders without the edges coming backup during hot summer days? I have just never had any luck with peel and stick anything staying in place on anything that would get that hot sitting in the trailer lot.

Comes with adhesive on back, pretty easy to cut with scissors or razor blade. I have not had any problems with lifting. It's on my fender wells and it works great, have been out in 105+ degree weather and still holding strong. So far no fading or shrinking either.
