I've been researching them and would love to add something mechanical to mine. PP only controls the throttle -- it doesn't manage the wakeplate. I'll probably leave my stock wakeplate and add two hydraulic trim tabs on the back. This will give me even more adjustment for balancing out the wakeboard wake or stretching out the surf wake.

i've read that the transom needs reinforcement but have no experience with it...no telling if it's true. wakemikey has bennet tabs or something hydraulic on his. maybe he knows....

here's a interesting thread of WW. this guy made a control box to take the PP speed and automatically adjust his hydraulic plate to reduce bow rise on take-off. pretty cool stuff.

Wotan yeah that would work Sanger used two (offcenter) or three trim tabs on their new boats.

Perfect Pass does not control the trim tab. Supra has developed a system on new boats that is an auto-trim tab. Goes down to help with hole shot, then back up once you are up to speed.

SOmeone put one aftermarket Bennett trim tab on my boat and it is very useful although not needed. It doesn't make the wake much bigger. Just a tiny big steeper and easier to drive when weighted down.

Someone here looked into it and Bennett said $350 I think to do it. I would personally get FreshAirExhaust.com first.

My boat doesn't have any special reinforcenment on the transom. I wouldn't think you would need any as it is roughly the same size.

Just to let you know, the new PP Pro that is coming on the '08 and newer boats will save your name, wakeplate setting, and speed for up to 8 different riders. And yes, the wakeplate works great for fine tuning your wakeboard/surf wake.

I thought it was a Supra product where their dash LCD communicated with both the wake plate and perfect pass.

As opposed to the standard off-the-shelf Perfect Pass having the ability to control the wake plate.

The actuators are a different width than the stock arms so you need to install the new arms. Also I think it's a totally different plate, it is hinged. I didn't thnk the factory was hinged???
