    Default Walter V-Drive Winterization Question

I've done a full winterization on my boat for the first time ever. Only question I have is about draining the water out of the Walter V-Drive...I took both the in and out hoses off and drained them. Then, I took off both drain plugs off the V-Drive as recommended by the owners manual.

But...not a lot of water drained out when I took the plugs out. I know the plugs are located near the top of the V-drive so it makes sense that there isn't a whole lot of water to come out. But, does anyone know if there is any need to suck any more water out of the V-drive or am I good to go?

    Thanks a lot, Fishman

Thanks Doc, I've looked at scematic and you're right, the chamber is actally very shallow. I think alot of the water would pour out just by taking the hoses off. Good idea on the shop vac...I hadn't thought of that.
