    Default Home made cover 87 Sunsport

    If this is as easy as it seems I\'ll post a picture of the boat naked. I love seeing the old classics, that Mariah is awesome.

    How we made the cover;

    Bought Sunbrella from "defender marine" I think. did measurements with story pole, cardboard templates. We based it on the snaps, so we made two pieces, one for the playpen and one for the back. This was a mistake because water leaks down the windshield which is uncovered.

    I found that I can't open the JPEGs, but if I save them and open them it works.

    nice job! I've often wondered how the newer covers keep water from runing off the windshield and under the bow cover?

    I like the details on the rear of the cover. SWEET!!! My old sunbrella cover is on its last season. A buddy of mine can supply me with the fabric. He works for an awning manufacturer in Knoxville.

    Did you place the seam down the length in the center? The one I have has the seam in at least three places perpendicular to the length. I like the single seam if that is what you did. I have to work around a tower, but I have modified the current cover with rope and hooks to go around and tie it together.

    Good job!
