    CMTaylor, you can produce a GREAT surf wave with a direct drive. I personally run 350 in front pushed against the surf side wall, 500 in the rear across the back and 700 on the floor on the passanger side. The wave is thigh-to-belly-button high. It is a great time and we surf a LOT!

    Hey guys thanks for the props! We go about 11mph. I can't get youtube at work so Vimeo it is! There is another one where I am holding the rope in case I lose the wave.

    Oh and if you listen, you can hear how quiet the engine is - you can hear the water slapping on the hull of the boat, and you can actually HEAR it everytime I do a big carve on the board. That is a quiet boat!

    Ill have 1850, 1100 bow and 750 locker, or 2250, add a 400 stacked in ski locker or on the floor, depending on the number of people. I also have an another 400, hmmm, where should i put it ...

    750lb bag port locker, 400lb bag under port seat--cooler removed, 800 up front. Peeps on port seats, But it is a mobius lsv
