Default 2000 Legacy Electronic Guage Problems

The dash guages have gone dead and the tach is freaking out, bouncing around randomly while the engine is running. The hour meter, perfect pass, and depth guage all still work but that's it. Boat runs fine, just don't have any guages to go by.

I had a similar problem the 2nd year with the boat (bought it new in March 2000), dealer replaced the electronic module that controls the dash guages which fixed it. But the tach wasn't acting weird then as it is now. Am I looking at an expensive control module replacement again (less than 200 hours later) or is it something more easily fixed (hopefully)? Anyone else experienced this? Any techs out here? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, Ed
