    Default legacy width

Anyone know the width of a '99 legacy ON the trailer?? I am trying to get a storage unit for the summer but can't get to my boat as it is 3 hours away right now. I figure 9 feet to be safe, but an exact width would really help. Thanks!

You have to have at LEAST a 108 inch opening or a 9 foot door with a straight shot backing in and going out. My 99 Legacy is right at 104 inches. I ended up going with a 12' X 25' with a 10' door for the flexibility of getting the boat in and out. 2" per side is too tight for my liking. You will pay more for the larger opening but how much will the repairs run you if you damage the boat, trailer or storage facility with the tight fit.

    Good Luck.

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate the information. I found a parking spot outside which is going to work out the best... although I took it out today and the engine died on the way in, not sure what the deal is with that. It just clicks, no starter now. We just had the gages worked on and the ground for the gages was shared with some other stuff, so maybe that change affected it, I dont know. But again, thanks!

    Default Dead Battery

Sounds like you do not have enough juice. I had the same problem. I only had a 2 year old battery with 550 cold cranking amps that was "fully charged" and Indmar calls for 650 cold cranking amps. I bought a new battery and it made all the difference in the world.

That was what I first thought of, but I just had the dealer install a brand new battery. I talked to the dealer today and I have to bring it in.
