Why did Supra drop Santera line

looking at late 1990's entry into the Supra world and am curious why the Santera line was dropped?

Also what hull would 1995-2002 Santera's compare to?

I believe the santera is the same or similar to the 06' and earlier SSV???

I'm not sure but I think that was when SC got the Moomba line so there was no need for an entry level Supra.

Moomba has always been owned by SC in one way or another. First as Supra Sports in '89 when they purchased the mold from the Aussie company then as United Marine in '95 and finally SC in '97. I doubt the demise of the Santera line was due to Moomba, if anything either lagging interest in the model or SC just moving on to better things.
