    Default '87 Pleasurecraft 454

I have been contimplating converting my 1987 Pleasurecraft 454 v8 from carburated to fuel injected. Does anyone have any idea where I could get the parts, or has anyone here done it themselves and what did you think? Was it worth it? How much did it cost?

I converted my 85 Beast to fuel injection by throwing away the old 454 and transplanting in a new 496 HO. Sorry to say the ol 454 might not perform much better being fuel injected. Easier starting but no more hp. You already have a 750 cfm carb. If you switch the heads to Vortec and add a Multi port intake system you can add 40 hp. Basically going from 330 to 370. That is to say the bottom end, ie pistons and crank are in good shape. Just adding the injection, throttle body you will be around $1,500 in parts. Good luck Al
