question??
I have a 2006 22ssv with factory ballast, 2x 350# rear and 650# centre corect?
I have 2 extra launch bags that hold 440#s and I was going to put them under the 350 bags and leave them 3/4 full in the boat.
question is can I leave 600#s in the back of the boat while trailering for only 5 minutes back to my house? and can I leave that weight in there all the time?
of course if I go for a road trip I would empty all the ballast.
this is the easy way right now instead of buying more bags I can buy a new surf??
any thoughts

First, let me sign the waiver of liability since I'm sure the manual says to empty all weight from the boat while launching/trailering.......
I'd do it. I wouldn't see a problem leaving 300#'s in each rear locker. I assume we're talking non-highway speeds/etc? You may need to put the trailer a little deeper when launching to compensate for the stern sitting a little lower in the water, not sure, but something to watch for.
Now, on to the important question......what new surf are you looking at??
