Default When you upgrade to electronic ignition I got a question about the ballast resistor

Okay last night I installed the pcm Prestolite Electronic ignition and it says for me to bypass the ballast resistor,

From what I gather this is the 2 terminal sensor in the back of the motor by the starter solinod on these older supra's,

What I did is just unbolt the one side and bolted them together on the right side! Should this be fine or should I unbolt it all together and just butt connector it?

I dont see why that wouldnt work. Your getting a complete connection. I did the same thing on mine, works well for four years now.

I did the same thing for 2 years... when I rewired the boat I bypassed it completely. Either way should work without a problem.
