Random tidbit. My first time out in my Saltare after I got it this past September a friend from work came out for his first time. He's Italian. Looked at the writing on the side of the boat and asked if Saltare was the name of my boat. Told him, no, it's the model, a Supra Saltare. Apparently Saltare means "to jump" in Italian. He thought since I kneeboard and wakeboard I had named it Saltare. Kind of cool really. I wonder if Supra knew the meaning of Saltare in Italian or if it was a play on words "salt air". Doubtful they intended it as in the '80s I suppose everything was slalom so jumping wouldn't make much sense.
