    Does anyone know where I can
    find a starter for my 89 454 ?
    Mine seems to be dragging ..

    I lucked out and picked one up at my local NAPA (it's a marine starter.) I've also had them rebuilt by a local guy. DB also sells them for a pretty good price..... http://www.dbelectrical.com/p-5817-n...t-sdr0065.aspx

    Discount Inboard Marine is always a good place if you can not get it at the local auto store. For the most part their prices have been in line or slightly less then NAPA and Advanced for the same products.
