    Default Tranny oil

    I just bought an 87 saltare and drained the fluid for the tranny and it was a reddish color I was wondering what they are suppose to take it has the 454 engine in it any help would be great I thought I heard people are running dextron III.

    It's supposed to be red/pink -- Use Dextron 3
