89 Comp Gas Tank Size?

So I just bought my first boat! It's an '89 Supra Comp TS6M, and I love it. Had her on the water for the first time yesterday.

Does anyone know how big the gas tank is? We got off the water a little earlier than planned because the gas gauge was a little erratic, and I didn't want to get stuck on the maiden voyage.

Ok, just got word from Supra that it is 25 gallons.

I just pulled the tank out of my 89 comp a couple of weeks ago and the tank very clearly had "21 gals" stamped on it for the capacity.

I pulled a 88 and a 89 fuel tank out of two comps this past week. the 88 had a 22 gallon and the 89 had a 25 gallon. I think George Fowler put in what ever he could get his hands on back then!!!!!

That is the burning question I recently removed a tank from an 88 and from an 89 (both comps) one was a 22 gallon and the other was a 25 gallon. oh well I think those years Gorge Fowler put in what ever he could find!!

Hmmm....21, 22, 25??? I'll just make sure it doesn't get that low on gas too far from the dock.
