    Default pump too small?

Did what I could to get a pump for 2 450lb sacs I wanted to use on vacation. Tsunami 500gph(cheap).....Don't have the quick connects for the sacs so I bought barbed garden hose fittings for the pump and thought I'd run the hose into the sacs into they were full and put the caps back on. Is the 1/2" garden hose the issue for my low water volume or is it the pump? Don't even think i culd've washd my hands with the water flow......
So here's a stock wake shot on a '90 Conbrio at 23 mph with ZERO ballast...
I sitting on the walkthrough to center the weight in the boat!

Is the pump brand new? That should fill as fast as a semi-slow garden hose - fast but not gushing. I use 3/4 line so that could be a little restrictive...

Did it prime enough? I know when draining our ballast bags with the stock Rule pumps, it may pump a little trickle. I then have to turn it off and back on in order to get it to really kick in.

Also, make sure you have the pump as close to the water source as possible. Those aerator style pumps don't like to move much water if they aren't 100% primed.

def. a priming issue, gonna retry tomorrow am.....friends arriving and will need ballast for our 1st surfing attempt. I'll have to get pics, pending the height of the back of the boat!!!!
