    Default boat nose

Okay i damaged my boat nose, where the front fiberglass and the stainless steel came off. So any ideas of how to fix it? Sorry for no pics.
It got damaged from driving the boat up the trailer, i normally can get the boat up the trailer with a full crew...not this time

I'm assuming you're talking about your rub-rail? You can either replace the entire thing or buy a smaller piece and patch it. Or are you talking about the bow-hook? We need more info before we can help....

The price sounds about right. I had a mishap on mine last fall and had the trailer in too deep and the nose went under the boat buddy and did some fiberglass damage. Cost me $350. To do the repair they had to take the rub rail off.

    Aaron187,

Sorry about that I was thinking it was another post when they were asking if the fiberglass repair was about right. I need to learn to read.

Did the exact same thing, except the first estimate I just got last week was over $600!

It really ticks me off how stupid that was

I just did a post called "minor bow damage". I have a pic posted...and the quote I got so far was $250 - $300. We will see how it turns out. Stupid mistake for me too...but nothing that can't be fixed...although both embarassing and depressing.
