i got an 85 supra comp and i just pulled the tank to replace hoses and clean up. i found the mufflers lol just rubber silencers is what they look like. i pulled them off to check them out and i was wondering if i could just run flex pipe in their place to make it louder.??? would it hurt anything besides my ears? i need feedback asap because im puttin it back together tonight thanks!!

there are no "mufflers " on mine , just straight exhaust hose.....sounds sweet . Lots of people have theirs this way .
