    Default Motor Specs for '89 454

    I've just purchased an '89 Saltare with a 454 -- anyone know where I should set the timing, dwell, idle RPM, etc, etc -- need all the engine specs.

    the only thing you may need to adjust is the idle speed which should be neutral 550 rpm. my advice is to not tinker with anythig else, that vintage 454 runs forever without adjustment or tune up.

He also has OEM parts for older PCM and Indmar motors, he also supplies other replacement parts from fuel filters to steering cables.
