Default tower bimini couldn't afford to DIY

I had been looking to DIY a bimini for our tower but ended up finding this one on ebay (seller - Wakepros). I had this one shipped to my door for $200. It is very functional but probably not as sturdy or as clean on the fit and finish as the big name biminis. But then again it costs less than half of what they do. The canvas has velcro all around the outside edge, so when we trailer the boat I just undo the velcro and roll it to the front bimini bar then use ball bungees to secure it.

In the end I am very happy with it and would suggest it for those looking for a low priced bimini solution.

Nice find! Is your tower the Aerial Airborne?

I looked at their store and they have some pretty good prices on other stuff too.

My tower is a TL. They were selling them on ebay for through most of 2008 and 2009, but I have not seen them on there this year.

The bimini has a stitched hole in it which the rope holder goes through. I can easily grab on to the tower and step up on the engine cover to hook up the rope. Although I was worried that the rope would catch on the bimini it never came close.
