Help with Kenwood kts-p400mr and subwoofer

I just bought a 2007 supra launch. It has a sub, amp and all of it is plugged into the subwoofer output. I know it works due to unplugging the rca's from the kenwood and hooking up my zune to the rca's with an adapter. I read in the manual for the kenwood there is an option to turn the sub output on, but I'm having issues getting into the sub menu.
Anyone offer any suggestions?

I was looking at mine yesterday and I also had problems getting into the Switching preout menu. When I read it a bit closer, found that it is only on the KTS-300MR that you can change it.

So would that mean the sub output on the back of the kenwood is dead? I can unplug the rca's leading to kenwood, put an ipod on it and the amp/sub works, just not when plugged into the kenwood head unit
