Looks like the wake is starting to shape up, but I'd expect a little more with that much weight. Maybe it's my sinus meds kickin in, but can you clarify exactly how much weight you have where in the pics? What speed & wakeplate setting? Curious to see what the experienced experts have to say...

    mike,

In those pics, this is the weight set up...

~350# in the ski locker across the rear
    ~350# under the rear seat
~300# down in the bilge belly up front (kind of under the cooler)
~250# on the floor right in front of the motor
~750# on the floor/up onto the rear seat next to the engine (surf side)

Speed is about 11mph and my wakeplate is fixed at about 1/4" above level.

Definition of "goofy" - surfing right foot forward

    or

    - wearing shorts over wetsuit.

Sorry, no help here (just jealous you've finished your rebuild AND are still enjoying a late season - keep enjoying the fruits of your labor)

I said the same thing to Dusty and KG. Both wore shorts. Not complaining though. I would perfer more midsection coverage over less, if you know what I'm saying.

Yeah, we were unsure of the general rule on if the shorts go over or under, but under seems pointless...why wear em. Over at least gives you some color!

Yeah, I'm all for more coverage.

So, what about the waves? What do you guys think?
