    Default Board Review?

Anybody have a feel for the Grind Water Shapiro Mauka board? They are having a decent sale at Evogear, but I don't know anything about it.

This is the only thread I could find about it. I might get to try them out next year.

Actually.... Here is a link. My friend with online store gave us a discount code for 10% off and free shipping! They are 'sold out' right now but I'm sure the new ones are coming soon.

    The discount code is SUPRADEAL10

Thanks for the input Mikey, I didn't find much on Grind Water either.

I took the plung. I figured $288 delivered for a starter board (normal price $499ish) is a good deal, and might be a bit better than the standard CWB Ride, COEX, etc. that everybody has. I am a bigger guy (220-230 lbs.), so I might need the bigger board. I have a new ballast set up for our 03' SSV but i still think the wake might be on the smaller side. Now all I need is warm weather to try it out. Only 5 more month!

    Well,

The new board showed up in the mail today. It looks good, now all I have to to is get started on the ballast upgrades and wait for May to get here!

Be nice Jet, us big boys have to learn on something! If this goes well the next one will be more of a skim board style surfer.
