Hows the floor in the boat? Any signs of rotting? I've been lurking through the forums for a while before I buy a boat, and this seems to be a big issue, and a big hassle to replace

Its a hassle when you no nothing about it, once you do some home work on this forum you will see that there are lots of guys that have never done something like this have done a 100% restoration on there boats and love there boat and themselves after doing it. There are several threads on here showing you step-by-step with pictures and who cant follow that. Its like buying and old mustang. You want to buy one already done like some else likes or do you want to build it up like YOU want it. I did my floor years back for like $400-$500 in parts and labor 2-3 wks (floor only), yes I spent more since I was already there, lol.

Oh, i hear ya man... i'm all about taking on a project and building something up to make it better, and taking the credit for it haha but if i can avoid that kinda ass pain... why not?!

Tilley it is a big issue but as you can see people ARE able to buy them in poor condition, take them to a mechanic for repairs, and then resold for a small profit.

If it works out for u, I expect pics! IMHO you cant find a nicer boat in that era.

Edit: peeked at those pics again and DAYNG she is a looker! I LOVE that tall, roomy tower. I think this boat is a great deal at this price. Still, be sure to get her compression tested.

I would be all over this boat. The pictures are far away and you can still tell this boat is NICE!!
