    Default 1988 Comp Semi-Restoration

So as y'all can see a couple posts ago, I was wondering about replacing stringers and where to get it done. I decided to take my comp to Mr. Jackson at Viper Customs to get the stringers replaced. The reviews were too great not use him. Sunday, I took my boat to his shop and I talked to him. What a nice guy! He is going to repair the stringers and floor, check out the engine and replace broken parts throughout the boat. He said he is going to keep me updated with photos, so I figured I would share this process with everyone on the forum.

Here is what he started with...

Greenhead - I hope that you are as happy with your restoration as I am with mine. Jim did mine last winter - took a little longer than I had hoped, but definitely worth the wait! Keep us updated. Is he doing any upholstery work?

    Default A few more...

I think I'm gonna wait on the upholstery... It's still in good shape with the underlying wood intact. I've just got him bringing everything back into working order, checking the engine, and making sure everything is tight and water ready for the summer.

I think the pictures were taken after the hull had been washed out behind the foam removal...
