What would the HP rating be on a 92 Susnport/Spirit with a Carb 351W? Would it still be the 240hp like most of the mid 80's comp boats or would it be higher because of High performance heads?

Well I found another post on this site of a guy listing his 92 sunsport and says it has a stock 351 PCM with 285hp. That is encouraging. They must have used the standard 351W and slapped on the gt40 heads to get the extra power. That should have plenty of torque to pull out loaded as long as it has the correct prop.

I wouldn't worry too much anyway...I have a ski supreme with the 351 240HP and it drags my 230 lbs out of the water with ease.
