Large American Flag from Tower -- 06 Supra Launch

Hey guys,

New Supra owner here. Got tired of bumming pulls off my buddies two boats (Centurion Air Warriors) so I ditched my deck boat last year at the end of the season and just bought a 2006 Supra Launch 21V.

So, here is my question. I want to be able to mount a full size American Flag from my wakeboard tower. I would not fly it all the time, but want to have a solid mount for when I do. I am envisioning some type of metallic, cylinder style mount to hold the flag pole (wooden) and maybe a thumb screw of some type to keep it snug. The cylinder would be around 12" long and then have a split ring type mount to go around the tower tubing. Once the flag was in, I would run some type of 550 cord up at the top of the pole and run it down to the front of the boat. Has anybody done anything like this? I don't want to reinvent the wheel.
