    Default WTB: Tower Speaker Cans

EDIT: New. Bought some Kicker HLCDs. Need 8 cans to put them in. Anyone have old roswell cans or anything else? Right now my plan B is to buy some Bullet Lines unloaded cans and then have some clear anodized to make them hold up better.

I'm starting to think spring... My last setup was a custom wood/fiberglass batbox with (4) x 6x9s. Unfortunately, water seeped into it and it rotted from the inside out. I was going to rebuild something similar with plastic ribs and fiberglass outer with room for (6) 6x9s but I thought I'd try to find something on here first. Looks like the WakeWorld classified section has sort of dried up (or is it just winter, still??)

Anyone know where the good classified deals are these days? Or have any tower speakers they are looking to sell?

I have a pair of Exile XM-7 tower speakers and an Exile S400.4 amp for sale. They were on my boat for only one season and are in great shape.

I think I'm going with the Kicker HLCDs. Waiting for when I get the boat out of storage to see if I have the room to fit 8 cans. <evil grin>

You've got room on that tower for hlcd's and a few 15" subs.

Mikey -- Have any good sources for DIY cans? Bullet seems to be the cheapest but they make me nervous and they still seem sort of expensive. I thought it used to be you could get a decent pair of cans for $100.

Hmm.... Not seeing anything on star one wake but I emailed them asking them about unloaded cans. I've got a source for cheap Kicker HLCDs. Gotta make sure they check out first but if you guys can keep your eyes open for cans, I'd appreciate it!
