Default Supra Comp riding low in water

When our Supra Comp is at rest, the bow is between 6-12 inches out of the water. We're pretty sure it wasn't like this when we first got it. We just had our repair person check it and said there wasn't excessive water in front but the bildge pump might not be working properly. How high should the bow be out of the water when the boat is at rest?

I would run it with you and 1 other person for a good 5-10 mins , taking out any excess weight off the boat (i.e. fat sacs, floats, boards, etc...), and then check the bildge area for how much water your taking in or any leaks you may have. It might just be the pump or something else.

I have an 86' sunsport and the eye hook for where I tighten the trailer strap is usually 6-10 inches out of the water.

I bet its helping you throw a better wake tho...

We have a 2005. The boat in the picture seems it's a bit higher out of the water than ours. Is 6" at full stop unreasonable?

    Thanks for your help.

    Do you have docking lights?
If so, I think they should be a good 5-6 inches above the water line, plus the distance from the lights to the top of the bow.

The eye hook should be probably 3-4" above the water line I would guess.

That's my boat in the picture. Completely unloaded except for my wife and her friend in the back, so the bow might actually be sitting up a little. The point of the bow being 12 inches above the water seems reasonable. If you aren't having an issue with excessive water in the boat, I wouldn't worry about it. Did you buy the boat new? If not, maybe a previous owner put some weight in the belly for ballast?
