    Default 1st wakesurf for 2011

Surfed Easter Weekend with new Triple X board and new Fat Sacs - still trying to figure out the weight distribution. Board is faster than previous board, just need to create a longer pocket.

Awesome! I'm very jealous.... More weight up front = longer pocket.

Woton's right on about front weight. Personally, I dont put weight up front unless I am running into the swim platform (which means you have a big, steep wave which is priority #1). How much weight are you running and where? That board looks fun, what did you think of it?

    Default fat sacs

Thanks guys! We had a 550 lb up front (under the front - rt side) and then we played around (moved around) with the other 550 lb bag and a 750 lb bag in the back - behind the captains seat and along that side and up some on the rear seat.

I kind of figured we need more wt up front, unfortunately right now we don't have anyone else in the boat to help add some body weight so might have to look at another bag or put the 750 up front, of course it won't fit so nicely under the seat like the 550 one

I like the board so far, just trying to get the wake right - so not able to see what it would do and left all 3 fins in both days. Maybe it's just me but I am still thinking I need a smaller board, this one is 4'8". I do think if we are able to get the pocket longer, then the board will be fine.

I did keep running into the swim platform!
