Default Looking for a rear seat for 1987 Comp

Anybody know where I can find a rear seat? I just purchased the boat and the rear seat was missing. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

You will probably have to have one made. Even if you can find an original one, you'll still likely have to have the upholstery matched.

Probably not many 87s with the original upholstery in them, anyway. Not a super difficult piece to make yourself if you want think you feel like sewing.

    Where are you located?

And when you say rear seat? Do you mean the base box, or the actual cushions, what?

You can save yourself a ton of headaches and take the boat to a reputable uphostery shop. My guy in PA was terrific. He built a new whole new rear seat frame, and only charged me less than $300. Lot of these guys have skill beyond upholstery.

I am in Monticello, Indiana and need the frame and uphostery. The 87 Compt boat is the one that had the back seat as an option. Do you have a name and number of anyone that I could contact?

Can I get the name and number of your contact in PA. $300.00 sounds live a good deal.

The only concern is that he would need the boat for the measurements.
I also don't want to quote prices for him, that's just what he charged me for building mine. Mine was rotted and in many pieces, however he had something to go on. Talk to him though, he may have a solution.

I had a custom rear bench made with 5" foam front and on the backs. This way you need no framework for the bench just some 5/8" plywood.
