ski pylon for 1987 Comp

The T handle in the ski pylon was cut off and I need to know how to fix it. Any ideas?????

Anybody know where I can find a new one????

The cross bar that goes through it? I heated up my pylon, sprayed some PB on the cross bar, and hammered it out. If yours was cut you'll have to do this with what's left of the cross bar. Then you can get an aluminum dowel of the same OD as the ID of the hole (ideally a couple thousandths larger) and hammer it in. If you do this with the pylon mounted in the boat try to be gentle with it.

Thanks, I was not sure if it was pressed in. I am talking about the cross bar.

Those were pressed in. A good press will get it out, but it's not easy. As for a replacement, I'd do like Cadunkle and get an aluminum dowel and press it in.
