Default putting new boat on lift question

We are getting ready to put our 2002 SunsportV on the lift in the boathouse, the runners look short for the length of this boat but are actually standard. Doozie boat lift.
Since our new boat is a v-drive and the weight (engine) is in the back can
anyone tell me where the center of gravity is on this boat?
Don't want to tip it over backwards by not pulling it up far enough. Thanks

I don't know the exact center point. I can tell you that the runners need to go as far back as the shaft log at a minimum. In case your not familiar with shaft logs that is where the shaft comes out of the bottom of the boat. Mind your ballast system as it can change the center of gravity significantly. Sorry I can't be more exact, but there is no way to determine the exact center point. We move the axles on the tandem axle trailers to give the boat a tongue weight of 250 lbs. That is as close as we get. Thanks, Jay Warren
