Default Oldskool Trailer mods... Led's - chrome rims - new tires - all new suspension - Pics

Well 2 weekends ago I was having issues with tires blowing out and leaf springs worn out etc etc.. So I bit it and got new tires/leafs/wheels/ and finished up some led trailer lighting to match the truck and welded on the fender that I had off forever to buff the boat!.., Since I allready had $840 in tires and suspension it kind of took my budget for my custom wheels I was going to purchase away from me.. So I searched craigslist till I came across something cheaper for now. 16 inch 3 stars from older ford explorers

    Here is some pics

Now the trailer looks as good as the boat - well, almost.

Nice job but did you skip putting in inner fenders?

    Thanks everyone..

I actaully ran out of time in that week and wanted to bring the boat home so I didn't get that part done yet! Plan on welding in a frame for the carpeted board to lay in!

So what do you guys think of the 80 dollar wheel upgrade? I was running low on funds so I needed a quick fix.. There not the best but I feel they helped it with looks!

I think the wheels look great. I'm trolling craigslist every day hoping to find something "bling" for my trailer.

I took the inner fender boards off of my trailer to replace the axles and new Kodiac discs. They were rotting, so I planned to build new. Well I never got around to it. I haven't had any issues, and it makes maintenance and inspection so much easier. I don't ever intend to put them back on now.
