    fuel vent is below the rub rail?

    did you guys notice the teak grab handles on the transom of the newer comp?

    Look back at his first picture...

    On the left side of his boat, under the rub rail (almost directly in the back left corner of the boat) there is some sort of little connector that unscrews.

    What is it?

    That is the breather vent for the fuel tank. Mine both have had that.

    Some of the comps had the breather vent above the rub rail, that was a stainless little vent. This one is designed to prevent water from flowing into it.

    Yes its the vent for the fuel tank.

    Salty, I believe those teak grab handles on that newer comp are teak grab handles on an older Beast, those decals threw me off.
