Look back at his first picture...

On the left side of his boat, under the rub rail (almost directly in the back left corner of the boat) there is some sort of little connector that unscrews.

What is it?

Thats the tag with the hull ID number on it.

No that's on the other side. I'm referring to the port (left) side.

That is the breather vent for the fuel tank. Mine both have had that.

Some of the comps had the breather vent above the rub rail, that was a stainless little vent. This one is designed to prevent water from flowing into it.
