WTB Kenwood KTS-MP400MR and Remote/Remote Flush Mount Bezel

My H/U is having sporadic issues, has anyone pulled this model from their boat in working condition? I'd like to swap it out and see if it solves my issue. I'm dealing with a random HU shut down and a random "source change" It's very annoying.



Also, I have the wired remote for this unit, but I want to flush mount it. I've called Kenwood, their retailers, etc...and the only way to get it is to buy another remote. Has anyone bought one and not used the flush mount bezel?

Hey Dusty,

Sorry can't help you on getting these products, but have you tried unplugging the external remote to see if that corrects your problem.

I work with Alpine products and more than often these issues you have described are coming from intermittent functionality from the outboard remote.

Maybe you have already tried this. . . but just a thought. .

I've got a polished surface mount trim bezel that works with these remotes. Also have a remote, but the plug has missing pins. You can have it all for the shipping cost if it'll help out.

I have an extra surfact mount bezel if I can find it you can have it also for shipping. I'm looking to buy a Kenwood KTS-MP400MR.
