Default Wake the World brings us together

So I'm sitting in a restaurant in Charlotte on Saturday with some friends from Wake the World that I met there. We get to talking and one of them says "I'm Oldman" . . . . How cool is that? I love that! (You know, "Oldman" from this forum!)

So here's another plug for Wake the World: IF YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO BE PART OF A LOCAL WTW EVENT NEAR YOU, PLEASE GET OUT AND DO IT! You will never regret helping out a child that is less fortunate and the comradery that is made with the other volunteers is truly priceless.

    Check us out at:

We have active events in 11 states . . .

Thread drift: I gotta ask...just how "old" is he and how's his build going? Haven't heard anything from his camp in quite some time.

I take it that you met John! OldMan is a great guy! His son is pretty cool to, lol, except for getting that MB and drifting over to a darker side. LOL.

Jetlink, I rode on OldMan's Sunsport last year. They have it put together and floating and making wakes. It is definitely a different way of rebuilding a boat. Nonetheless, it is built and performing so you cant complain about that!!

Yep. John and Tanner were at breakfast the other day. Can't wait to see the new MB - can't blame him for getting a sponsor!
