Anyone have pics on how the 1100lbs bag fits in rear locker of 2009ssv launch?
    Thanks

Pics? I was told the 1100 might not fit and could do damage to the locker. I bought the 750 and now have buyers remorse

you have to reinforce the bottom between the hinges, and make sure your hinge screws are tight or better yet thru bolt them, will take a pick this weekend.....its a simple bracket add

    Yes indeed.
    Happened to me.
Bag filled, kinked the overflow line, cracked the fiberglass from the inside like an exploding egg. It resulted in $500 of fiberglass repair, not to mention the psychological damage.

If you keep a "close" eye on it, you can use it, but you won't get the 1100 full on a '09 21v. Maybe you'll get 900-950 lbs - Instead of having buyer's remorse, I'd advise to keep the 750 bag and put the stock 400 bag on the seat. You'll get more weight than the theoretical 1100 bag.

but if you do it, I agree with the need to reinforce the engine panel. I did that with u-channel on the engine compartment side of the panel and through bolts.

That's because it doesn't. I'm guestimating the 1100 bag can be filled to around 900lbs safely. That's why I prefer the 750 lb bag which can't cause problems.
