Default Old School is better then No school. 84 Supra

1.JPG4.JPG3.JPG2.JPGWell, its been about 2 years since I sold my boat, 03 Moomba Mobius LS. Its been a long 2 yrs!! I am now a proud boat owner again I picked up a 84 Supra ts6m for next to nothing. Its runs great, just needs a little TLC.

I have buffed and polished it (really made a huge improvement) I plan on redoing the interior this winter but I just couldnt handle the red/orange/yellow stripes on it so I got some vinyl paint and changed the color. I dont know how good those paints are but I figure it will work for the next few months. I still need to remove the rainbow stripe on the hull, trying to figure out what SUPRA decal to put on the side.
I'm planning on reinforcing the the boat to handle a tower, redo the bunks and repaint the trailer. I should just about have a brand new boat when I'm done. Oh and if anybody has a good line on where I can get a Perfect Pass system (used if possible) please let me know.

Looks sweet! I was thinking the same thing about the stripes, but since I reside in the 'Cuse, I was going to get rid of the yellow. What paint did you use for the vinyl? Easy to work with? Prep? I have about the same list of things to do with mine...I will be keeping tabs on you to watch our projects evolve. Here's mine.

Thanks, nice looking boat yourself. I dont have the cans of paint any more, so im not sure of the brand. I just went to the local auto parts store and got a couple cans of vinyl rattle can. Prep was easy, the can gives instuctions, just have to clean it realy good. I used bleach white to clean it. I dont know how long it will last, so hopefully I can redo the interior before I find out.
