What rotation is my 1992 Mariah (L or R)?

I need to order a new starter and don't have access to my boat right now. Its the PCM 351 power plus with 1:23:1 transmission. Anyone know what rotation this is off hand?

Left hand rotation engine. Don't go by the transmission output as you have a gear reduction tranny with a sun gear. Al

If all else fails look the engine when cranking it. Which way does the center pulley (crankshaft pulley) turn? Correlate that to looking at it from the back of the engine.

If the pulley (from the back) turns right, right hand rotation.

Standard rotation is left, reverse rotaton is right. All Supra's with PCM engines ran standard rotation which is LEFT hand. Note, Correct craft pcm's ran a reverse rotation, RH. Good luck Al
