    Default Fuel Pressure

What are the fuel pressure spec's for a 2006 21V Launch with a 5.7L Fuel Injected Assault 325 engine?
I'm getting 50 when the key is turned on and 90 with the engine running.

The fuel pressure should be a nominal 60 PSI at all times. The 90 psi with the engine running is too high and is an indication of a restricted fuel return line or a clogged or bad ful pressure regulator.

Thanks, I'll go out and check that now. Is the regulator on the throttle body?

OK, I'm not seeing a pressure regulator. Checked both the rails, photos attached and the only fuel line I can find is from the fuel pump to the first rail and on to the second rail. There appears to be NO return line from the rails. There is a return line to the side of the fuel pump that goes back to the fuel tank. There is also something just above the tank return line with a nipple that is covered up (blocked). What could it be?

Ok, I have pulled the fuel pump, here is a photo. Hope I don't have to replace it.2012-01-22_17-02-15_310.jpg
Is the second photo the fuel regulator? 2012-01-22_18-13-26_404.jpg

Well that was the issue. Swapped the fuel reg out yesterday and the engine runs fine now.
