I have a 14x16 OJ prop on my 92 Mariah with a PCM HO 351 (285 hp). When the prop is fresh from the prop shop at the beginning of the season i can get 50.5mph at about 4450 RPMs. After a few dings in the prop (my lake has lots of trash) i get about 48 MPH at 4300 RPMs. However, I wouldnt advise this type of running for more than just a short time (a minute or two max) for fear of engine damage. Ideally, a fast cruise speed for me is about 42 MPH at 3700-3800 RPM, but the boat is still drinking gas at that point because the secondaries are wide open.
I dunno if it is the right prop for you boat or not. However, if i'm not mistaken, the comp is a little smaller than the Mariah. Mine is right at 21' without the platform. So you could reason that the comp is at least a smidgen lighter. Reason this however you like. I have no experience with prop selection. You could always just call skier's choice and ask them.
Good luck and enjoy the season,
DKJ
